Millie’s House Nursery & Pre-School at Woodlands Avenue is a welcoming, 84-place day nursery caring for children from 3 months to 5 years old. It features four bright, age-appropriate rooms, thoughtfully designed to support children’s learning and development as they grow. Spread across three spacious floors, the setting also includes a dedicated pre-school classroom set within our lovely and secure walled garden.

Located in the heart of the New Malden community, the nursery sits on the corner of a quiet residential road with excellent parking facilities and convenient transport links. Local bus routes are just a short walk away, and both Norbiton and New Malden train stations are within easy reach.

Our children also enjoy the company of our much-loved nursery guinea pigs, Lemon and Frankie, who have been part of our Woodlands Avenue family for several years. Caring for them helps children learn about responsibility, empathy, and the joy of looking after others.

Our management team

Margaret Akeredolu, Nursery Manager

Margaret is an experienced childcare professional with a degree in Child Development. She began her career in early years in 2011 and joined Millie’s House in 2015, where she quickly became an integral part of the leadership team. Margaret works hard to create strong bonds with children and their parents, and to develop the quality of childcare provided by overseeing activities, mentoring and training her team. Margaret prides herself in every experience being a learning opportunity and promoting a ‘can do’ attitude with the children.

Mary Joyce Santos, Deputy Nursery Manager

Mary Joyce Santos, or MJ to her friends and colleagues, has been part of the Millie’s House team since 2022. Among her qualifications, she has a degree in Clinical Psychology and Master of Arts units in Guidance and Counselling. She has a strong belief that the children’s foundation in early years is truly significant as it will shape what kind of individuals they will be in the future. During her free time, she enjoys writing and illustrating children’s stories, and she hopes one day to publish her own book. Outside of nursery life, MJ enjoys musical theatre and spending time immersed in the arts.
