Millie’s House Nursery & Pre-School at Boatman’s Court, Putney opened in January 2025 and is a purpose-built, 74-place nursery for children aged three months to five years. Designed with children’s curiosity, wellbeing, and development at its heart, the nursery offers care and education across four bespoke rooms, each thoughtfully created to support learning through play, exploration, and discovery.

Our bright, modern building features underfloor heating, sensor lighting, and naturally lit play spaces filled with open-ended resources. Outdoors, children enjoy a unique two-storey garden that extends their learning and physical development. From cosy reading corners and mud kitchens to bikes, water play, and a thriving herb garden, the spaces encourages creativity, sustainability, and a love of nature.

At Millie’s House, children’s voices are central to everything we do. Our practice is inspired by Montessori and Froebel, embedding independence, curiosity, and outdoor learning into daily life. Our bespoke curriculum, Millie’s Map to Meaning, is designed to nurture every child to become a Confident Communicator, Resilient Researcher, Curious and Creative Thinker, Happy and Healthy Individual, and to feel Safe and Secure; the essential foundations for lifelong learning.

We offer a variety of extra-curricular activities, including baking, yoga, Sign and Sing, Boogie Mites, Squiggle While You Wiggle, and gardening, as well as participation in Eco-Schools and the RHS Gardening Awards.

What truly sets Millie’s House Putney apart is our highly qualified and passionate team, whose warmth, experience, and dedication create a nurturing environment where every child feels valued, respected, and inspired.
