Millie’s House Nursery & Pre-School at Fulham Palace is a 53-place day nursery for children aged three months to five years old. Open since August 2011, we are set within a beautifully converted house with a spacious garden, creating a true “home from home” environment where children can play, explore and grow.
Our nursery features four dedicated rooms tailored to different age groups, allowing children to develop in an environment catered to their specific needs. Our practitioners follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, providing a rich and balanced curriculum that nurtures curiosity, independence and confidence.
At Fulham Palace, play is at the heart of learning. Enabling environments, creative exploration, and messy play and fun are central to our ethos, encouraging children to discover new ideas and express themselves freely. Outdoor learning is a fundamental part of nursery life, helping children develop a lifelong interest in the world around them while building physical skills, resilience and a love of nature.
Our management team
Lucía Romero Fernández, Nursery Manager
Lucía manages our Fulham Palace Nursery. Originally from Barcelona, she worked as a primary school teacher before relocating to London in 2022. She joined the Group originally as a practitioner at our sister nursery, Anglo Spanish in Clapham, where she became a Room Leader after a few months, and Deputy Manager in 2024, before becoming Manager of Fulham Palace in 2025.
With her strong background in education and child development, Lucía is dedicated to delivering high-quality care and fostering an environment where both children and staff can thrive. Her leadership skills and commitment to continuous improvement ensure that the nursery provides a nurturing space for learning and growth. Lucía works closely with her team to support each child’s developmental milestones and ensures that the nursery’s high standards of care and education are maintained.
Mariz Raymundo, Deputy Nursery Manager
Mariz is the Deputy Manager at Millie’s House Fulham Palace, where she brings heart and leadership to early childhood education. Since joining Millie’s House, she has progressed from Nursery Practitioner to Room Leader, and now Deputy Manager. Mariz has worked across multiple nurseries within the company, gaining a wide range of childcare skills and knowledge. She is deeply passionate about supporting children's growth and development, and creating environments where they feel happy, safe, inspired, and empowered to learn.
Hours open
Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 6:00pm, with the option of an early start from 7:30am or a late finish up to 6:30pm
